+ Entrepreneur’s book sales to benefit charities
Three years ago, Carol Green started to notice dramatic changes taking place in the way people discussed religion. They seemed more open and willing to talk about it.

“As I talked to people, it piqued my curiosity,” Green said. “I looked for a book talking about these changes — beliefs, practices and affiliation — but I could only find research studies.”

With a background in market research, Green decided to write a book. In “Spiritual Transformation in America,” Green deals with the major shifts that are occurring in religious and spiritual observance and how exposure to different cultures, religions and spiritual practices influence what people think and believe.

All profits from Green’s book will be donated to national foundations, such as the Lupus Research Institute and Sunshine from Darkness, that foster research to help people live their lives without chronic physical and emotional pain.

The book is available at www.carolbgreen.com.
