Congressman Vern Buchanan, R-Longboat Key, is collecting holiday Christmas and Hanukkah cards for U.S. soldiers who were wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. The cards will be delivered to men and women who are currently being treated in the spinal-cord injury unit at the James A. Haley Medical Center in Tampa.

To share your holiday wishes, drop off cards in unsealed envelopes with a brief message and signature to either of Buchanan’s district offices: 235 N. Orange Ave., Suite 201, Sarasota, Fla., 34236; or 2424 Manatee Ave. West, Suite 104, Bradenton, Fla., 34205.
