+ Longbeach Village group discusses topics
This year, members of the Longbeach Village Association formed a discussion group, which met each Monday. Issues of interest were discussed in a positive and thoughtful manner. An open mind and willingness to be a listener, as well as a speaker, were required. Topics discussed during the year were renewable energy, upcoming elections in the Ukraine, health care and teen pregnancy, among others.

Leadership of the group changed each week. Members of the group included Ben Feole, Joy and Bernie Vogt, Bob Kromer, Matsie Yost, Kay and Keith Tschannen, Jean Wagner, Winnie Nelon, Oksana Bashuk Hepburn and Ken Hepburn.
