Maison Blanche hosted a tasting and sampling celebrating FÃ©te du Beaujolais Nouveau on Thursday, Nov. 18. It is a red wine made from gamay grapes from the region of Beaujolais in France. It is harvested for only a few weeks before drinking, and it only keeps through the holiday.
Yesterday, people around the world celebrated FÃ©te du Beaujolais Nouveau, a red wine from France only corked on the third Thursday of November. Maison Blanche had its own tasting.

At the Longboat Key Garden Club Meeting Tuesday, Nov. 15 attendees learned the art of nature printing from Selby Printers JoAnn Migliore and Susan Lang. A nature print is applied pigment to natural objects that is transferred to fabric or paper and it's a great project for people who ca'â€™t draw or paint.
