The Longboat Key Town Commission appointed Lands End resident Pat Zunz to the District 5 commission seat at Monday night’s April 4 regular meeting.

Also at its regular meeting at Town Hall, 501 Bay Isles Road, the commission:

Forwarded to its May 2 regular meeting:

Adopted:
• An ordinance that approves a street name change from Triton Avenue to Triton Bend.

Passed:
• A resolution that approves a rate increase/fuel adjustment for its waste management contract.
• A resolution that allows the town to enter into an interlocal agreement with Longboat Key Beach Erosion Control Districts A and B for the implementation of a future beach project.
