Historical Society Lecture — Takes place at 7 p.m. at Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian, 6400 Gulf of Mexico Drive. Tea for the Sea — Takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. at Harbourside Dining Room, 3110 Harbourside Drive. The annual high tea event will celebrate women’s leadership in the fields of science and philanthropy. Tea and hors d’oeuvres will be served, and there will be speakers and a live auction. Monday, Feb. 8

Christ Church Fashion Show — Takes place at 11 a.m. at Christ Church of Longboat Key, Presbyterian, 6400 Gulf of Mexico Drive. Fashions will be by Patchington and hair by Design 2000.
