Whisper Bend hosts safety day

Residents of the Whisper Bend community off Linger Lodge Road became more educated about public safety with a special Community Safety Day event June 11.

Representatives of the Florida Highway Patrol, U.S. Coast Guard, East Manatee Fire Rescue and the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office participated in the event.
