Just three days remain to check out Mote Marine Aquarium’s latest traveling-reef exhibit.
The Sanctuary Reef exhibit at Mote Marine Aquarium gives viewers the chance to see a coral reef through a shrimp’s eye view.
The exhibit features a model coral reef cove inside the hull of an overturned ship with models of corals, fish, eels and other reef fauna, while the exhibit’s exterior provides reef-related information.
The exhibit is on display through Monday, Jan. 10, at Mote’s Ann and Alfred Goldstein Marine Mammal Research and Rehabilitation Center, 1703 Ken Thompson Parkway. Visitors can view the exhibit for free with cost of Mote aquarium admission: $17 for adults, $16 for seniors (over 65), $12 for ages 4 to 12, and free for children 3 and under. Admission is always free for Mote members.
