Two LBK condo associations receive Bay Partner grants

Beachplace Association Inc. and Windward Bay Condominium Association received two of the 13 Bay Partner grants totaling more than $30,000 awarded by Sarasota Bay Estuary Program.

Beachplace Association Inc. received partial funding for upgrading a storm water detention pond, while Windward Bay Condominium Association received partial funding for a major expansion of an existing saltwater bioswale.

Mote Marine Laboratory also received partial funding for support of marine research by the Mote High School Internship Education Program.
