Town Manager Bruce St. Denis presented a list of budget reductions at a Wednesday, July 13, budget workshop that pleased Longboat Key Town Commission.

St. Denis presented a list of $265,222 worth of budget reductions that would create a $222 budget surplus for the Fiscal Year 2011-12 budget, which begins Oct. 1.

St. Denis reduced the attorney budget, made modifications to training budget line items and made modifications to employee health insurance contributions to make the reductions.
