Three Greenbrook residents have applied to fill a Lakewood Ranch Community Development District seat.

At the board's meeting next week, supervisors will consider resumes from John Freeman, Peter DeAngelis and Jillanne Conelias for the post vacated last month by former Supervisor Stacy White.

Freeman, a financial adviser with Raymond James & Associates, is a former president of the Rotary Club of Lakewood Ranch and a graduate of both Leadership Sarasota County and Leadership Manatee County. He also is a member of Lakewood Ranch's Community Emergency Response Team.

DeAngelis worked as the vice president of Arcade Insurance Agency in Akron, Ohio from 1975 to 2007 and also served as a city councilman for the city of Tallmadge, Ohio from 2001 to 2007. Throughout his career, he has held other government positions, including administrator of the Summit County Sheriff's Office and a ward councilman for the city of Akron, Ohio, among other roles.

Conelias has served as a teacher at Sprouts Child Development Center since August 2009 and has been involved in the Parent Teacher Organization at Willis Elementary and in the Lakewood Ranch Moms Group.
