Sunrise services on horizon for Easter

As East County churches welcome the Easter holiday, four will also hold special Easter sunrise services either on or off campus.

The following churches will hold special services March 27:

Cornerstone of Lakewood Ranch — service starts at 7 am. at Cornerstone of Lakewood Ranch, 14306 Covenant Way, Bradenton. Regular Easter services will follow at 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. For information, visit cornerstonelwr.org.

Crosspointe Christian Church — service runs from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at Nathan Benderson Park, 5851 Nathan Benderson Cir., Sarasota. Join Crosspointe Christian Church for a morning of worship and inspiring message in celebration of Easter. A regular Easter service will follow at 11 a.m. Crosspointe’s campus, 3530 Whitfield Ave., Sarasota. For information, visit crosspointe.life.

Harvest United Methodist Church — service starts at 6:30 a.m. at Harvest United Methodist, 14305 Covenant Way, Bradenton. This sunrise service will be held outside and will be followed at 9 a.m. with a traditional worship service and at 10:30 a.m. with contemporary worship service. The Tabernacle — service starts at 6:30 a.m.  at Sarasota’s Bayfront Island Park, next to Marina Jack’s. Worship service will feature live praise music and a message from The Rev. Dwain Kitchens. Regular Easter services will follow at 11 a.m. at The Tabernacle’s worship center, 4141 DeSoto Road, Sarasota.
