Suncoast Storm teams win championships

The Suncoast Storm 98 and 02 teams both won championships during the Suncoast Tournament June 4-5 at Lakewood Ranch Park.

Twenty-four teams from across the state, including Key West, Jacksonville and Lakeland participated in the tournament.

The Storm 98 team beat its sister team Storm 97 4-3 in the championship of the 14s division. The Storm 02 team was also victorious, defeating the Manatee Twisters 14-4 in the championship of the 8s division.
