School district hosts community engagement forum

by: Josh Siegel Staff Writer

The Manatee County School District is hosting a community engagement forum Thursday night at Haile Middle School.

Superintendent Rick Mills had led the community gatherings periodically throughout the school year, as a way to keep the public informed about the latest school district happenings.

Thursday night’s forum, held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., will feature comments from Mills about school leadership, a school board update from Julie Aranibar, and conversation about school social workers, psychologists and counselors.

The event will end with a question and answer session.
