The Manatee County School Board will vote to adopt the district's $566.9 million budget tonight.
The public hearing, at 5:45 p.m. at 215 Manatee Ave. W., will give people a last opportunity to comment on the 2013-14 budget.
Two previous public hearings have been held on the budget — one more than required by the state.
The final budget, posted to the district's website Sunday, features little change from the tentative budget released earlier.Normal 0 0 1 8 46 1 1 56 11.1539 0 0 0
At the last public hearing Aug. 29, Superintendent Rick Mills announced the district will hire 85 additional teachers for the 2013-14 school year to match enrollment growth recorded in the first 10 days of the school year.
