Sarasota County Sheriff's Office searches for missing adult

Sarasota deputies are searching for a missing Sarasota man last seen leaving his home at about 2 a.m. this morning.

According to a press release by the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, Family members of 70-year-old Herbert Boughn report that he drove away from his house in a 2006 silver Chevy Silverado with Florida license tag 914MVU.

Boughn is 6-foot-two-inches and has white hair and glasses.  He has health issues and may be endangered.  Boughn made statements about possibly traveling back to Iowa where he is from.

The Sheriff's Office has urged the public to by on the lookout for Boughn and his vehicle. If you have information, call 861-5800 or 316-1201.
