Lakewood Ranch Community Development District 5's newest member isn't new to the governance scene.

Supervisors today selected Glenda Robertson to replace Tom Bishop, whose resignation was effective at today's meeting.

Robertson served on CDD from November 2006 to November 2010.

Supervisors thanked Bishop for his service.

"It's been a fun run," Bishop said. "I want each of the board members to know if they run into those hard situations, they now have one more resident who appreciates their work and supports (their decisions)."

In CDD 6, supervisors also accepted the resignation of Supervisor James Hill, who resigned for personal reasons.
