One Popcorn: Flop
Two Popcorns: Wait till it’s on video
Three Popcorns: Go see it
Four Popcorns: Standing ovation

"A Good Day To Die Hard"
Two Popcorns
Genre: Action/Adventure
Cast: Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Sebastian Koch, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Yulia Snigir, Rasha Bukvic, Cole Hauser
Director: John Moore
Rating: R
Comment: This fifth in the "Die Hard" series can't carry the other four's "water." Impossible to suspend disbelief. Some really poor editing cuts are obvious too. The over the top special effects should really be seen on the big screen to get the full, ridiculous, OMG effect. Despite the effects, it is a disappointment for Bruce Willis and "Die Hard" fans.

"Beautiful Creatures"
Two Popcorns
Genre: Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Romance
Cast: Alden Ehrenreich, Alice Engiert, Jeremey Irons, Viola Davis, Emmy Rossum
Director: Richard LaGravenese
Rating:PG-13
Comment: Moments of creative inspiration similar to "Twilight Saga," but those sputtered out. Big disappointment for those who read the book. In any event, an extremely unmemorable picture.

"Escape From Planet Earth 3-D"
Two popcorns
Genre: Animated Family Comedy
Cast: Rob Corddry, Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker,
Director: Cal Brunker
Rating: PG
Comment: Really corny, so take the little kids for a family outing, grin and bare it!

"Amour"
Two Popcorns
Genre: French
Cast: Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva, Isabelle Huppert, Alexandre Tharaud William Shimell
Director: Michael Haneke
Rating: PG-13
Comment: Warning: critic alert!! Art posing as entertainment. Two hours, seven minutes of agony, tedium and depression. The ultimate act of love…but not what you're thinking. The "critics" gushed over it so beware!
