Developers of the Creekwood community are requesting changes to the neighborhood's development of regional impact.

Proposed changes will go before the Manatee County Planning Commission, an advisory board that makes recommendations to the Manatee County Board of County Commissioners, during its meeting Dec. 12.

Developers are asking to motify the land use of one parcel from office to residential, to increase the total number of residential units by 112, to decrease the office square footage by 125,000 and to ammend stipulations related to the Interstate 75 bridge approach.

The DRI is approved in four phases for 1,250 residentail units, 603,000 square feet of commercial space, 800,000 square feet of industrial space, 225,000 square feet of office spae, 80,000 square feet of mini-warehouse space and 100 hotel rooms.
