The Sarasota Police Department is on the lookout for an elf who goes by the name of Officer Elf on the Shelf. This North Pole helper keeps appearing around the Sarasota Police Department station and in patrol cars. It’s been reported that the elf has been helping officers by reminding people about the #MoveOver campaign and with the Shop with a Cop event.

But officers suspect the elf is also acting as a scout and reporting back to Santa Claus with notes on who belongs on the naughty or nice list.
