Gerald Edward Pies, 63, of Longboat Key, died Sept. 12.
Mr. Pies was born Oct. 4, 1950, in Green Bay, Wis.
Mr. Pies is survived by his mother and stepfather, Frances and Tom Beimborn; sons, Warren Pies and Grant Pies; brother, Wayne Pies; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, at Manasota Funeral Home, 1221 53rd Ave. E., Bradenton.
