Mother's Day comes early to Longboat Key swans

Beverly the swan has had four English cygnets hatch. Wendy the swan is expecting to hatch at any point in time in the next few days. Each female produced around six eggs earlier in April. There should be a whole new bevy of swans just in time for Mother's Day. Vicki has shown signs of processing feed and increasing her comfort in the water, but swan keeper David Novak says she's not out of danger yet.
