Manatee County to close roadway

Manatee County will temporarily close a section of 45th Street East as it makes improvements related to the 44th Avenue East extension.

The Public Works department announced 45th Street East will be closed between 34th Avenue East and 44th Avenue East starting March 20 through March 20.

The closure is to allow storm piping and watermains to be constructed in association with the 44th Avenue East project. It is a daytime closure only and the road will be open overnight and during non-working hours. 

Through traffic will not be allowed.
