Manatee County hosts budget hearing

Manatee County commissioners will hear from the public about their proposed 2015/2016 fiscal year budget during the first of two public hearings Sept. 15, at the county administrative building, 1112 Manatee Ave. W., Bradenton.

Constituents will have up to three minutes to share their thoughts on the county’s proposed $563.9 million budget, as well as tentative millage rates, which remain the same as last year. 

The public adoption hearing for the budget is slated for 6 p.m. Sept. 22, at the county administrative center.
