Manatee Commission discusses pool renaming

Manatee County commissioners will meet tomorrow to consider handy bus fare modifications, the renaming of East Bradenton Pool and other items.

The meeting starts at 9 a.m. at the county administration building, 1112 Manatee Avenue West.

Time certain items include the renaming of the pool in honor of Willie J. “Bro” Clemons, Jr. at 10:30 a.m.; handy bus fare modifications at 1:30 p.m.; and the 15th Street East project development and environmental study at 1:45 p.m.

Additionally, county staff seeks permission for the “quick taking” of the 1.67-acre property of Paul and Linda Marie Yoder as part of improvements to 45th Street E. to 44th Avenue East. The property would become a retention pond.
