The third annual Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key Food Drive was again a success. Kiwanis Club member Tom Michel, who handled collection efforts, reported that he made two trips from Bayfront Park Recreation Center, where collection bins were taken at the end of the food drive, to All Faiths Food Bank, in Sarasota. By Michel’s estimate, Publix led collection efforts.
