Longboat Library to hold open house

The Longboat Library will hold a Valentine’s Day open house from 2 to 4 p.m. today.

Volunteers invite Longboat Key residents and visitors for light refreshments and a chance to browse the library’s new books, old books, books on CD and new collection of DVDs.

The library is a not-for-profit organization and is located at 555 Bay Isles Road. Winter hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday. For information, call 383-2011.
