Longboat Kiwanis Club begins food drive

The Kiwanis Club of Longboat Key is currently accepting donations for its 2011 Spring Food Drive.

The following condominiums are collecting unopened packaged food and canned goods for All Faiths Food Bank: Castillian, Club Longboat, Longboat Arms, Portobello, Promenade, Seaplace, Tiffany Plaza and Windward Bay.

Donations are also accepted at the Longboat Observer office, Spike ’n Tees Restaurant at the Longboat Key Club and Resort, Longboat Key Publix, Longboat Key Town Hall and Longboat Key Police station.

The food drive continues through May 1. The Kiwanis Club continues to seek additional properties to participate in the Spring Food Drive. For information, contact Bob Gault at 387-8458 or John Wild at 383-4253.
