Lenobel in hospital but showing improvements

Commissioner Hal Lenobel was hospitalized over the weekend but is showing signs of improvement.

Commissioner Jack Duncan, who visited Lenobel earlier today, reported at the beginning of today’s Longboat Key Town Commission regular workshop that Lenobel was moved out of intensive care today and had a big smile on his face. He is expected to be discharged in a week, Duncan said.

Lenobel is a former Longboat Key mayor and is currently on his seventh term as a commissioner. He holds one of two at-large seats.
