The Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) will officially launch its Masters in Health Services Administration distance-education program today.

The inaugural class of students will be at the school today for orientation, beginning at 10 a.m.

Students will spend a few days at LECOM, 4800 Lakewood Ranch Boulevard, before going home to their computers for the rest of their distance education classwork.

The LECOM Masters in Health Services Administration program prepares students to be administrators in hospitals or other healthcare facilities, public healthcare organizations and private practice group.
