Lakewood Ranch maintenance facility opens to the public

After months of planning and approximately nine months of construction of a new maintenance facility for Lakewood Ranch Town Hall's operations department, the public is invited to attend an open house of the finished product, at 3 p.m. Jan. 9.

The icing on the cake to finishing the more than $2 million building, Town Hall staff members, supervisors of the Lakewood Ranch Inter-District Authority Board, and others involved with the project, will come together for a riboon cutting ceremony. Attendees are also invited to tour the new facility, located at 15207 59th Ave. E.

The maintenance building will serve as an office for Town Hall's operations staff members, as well as a storage facility, among other uses.
