Nicole Kaney is a Sarasota resident and wedding planner who loves to cook. Healthy dishes are her specialty, and this week, she shows us how to prepare a kale salad that she and her husband, Dustin Stroth, often enjoy with dinner. Kaney says people are often unsure how to prepare kale, so she wanted to shed some light on how to prepare one of her favorite healthy foods.
RECIPE
Kale Salad
Ingredients:
Kale
Kosher salt to taste
Olive oil to taste
Smoked jalapeño salt to taste
Bragg liquid aminos to taste
Feta cheese
Sundried tomatoes
Lemon
Sliced almonds
Directions:
Slice kale and remove stalks.
Mix ingredients to taste in large bowl, and toss by hand.
Chill for 20 minutes before serving.
