High five moments of the week

1 - The Pine View School golf team scored 155 to win the Middle School Golf Championships May 17, at Laurel Oak Country Club.

2 - Riverview scored 96 points to finish first in the Florida High School Athletic Association’s Academic Team Champions standings for Class 8A.

3 - The Out-of-Door Academy eighth-grader Dakota Dickerson scored both of the Thunder’s touchdowns in its spring game May 16.

4 - Sarasota area student-athletes Talia Daniel, Paiton Krebs, Cassidy Marryott and Jennifer Litzen all received scholarships from the Sarasota Area Sports Alliance May 15.

5 - Booker senior and Class 2A individual state tennis champion Janae Wilson earned a scholarship to play for the State College of Florida next year.
