 The Sarasota High softball team beat Viera 4-1 in the Class 7A-Region 3 finals May 1 to earn a berth in the State Final Four May 6 and May 7.

 The Sarasota Christian baseball team scored 10 runs in the second inning en route to a 15-3 victory over Marco Island Academy in the Class 2A-Region 3 quarterfinals April 30.

Sarasota Christian’s McKenzie Lantz and Heidi Miller both were named to the 2015 FABC/Source Hoops Girls Class 2A All-State Second Team.

 The Out-of-Door Academy senior Tre Gregory cleared 13 feet to finish fourth in the Class 1A Track and Field Championships May 1.

Sarasota High junior Adam Bradtmueller crossed the finish line in 4 minutes, 17.88 seconds to finish fourth in the 1,600-meter run at the Class 3A Track and Field Championships May 2.
