1 — Riverview High golfer Kadi Pallastrone shot 75 to lead the Rams to a berth in the Class 3A state tournament for the first time in three years.

2 — Cardinal Mooney senior Grace Casagrande crossed the finish line in 19 minutes, 14.50 seconds to finish first overall at the Tri County Cross-Country Championships Oct. 17 in Sarasota.

3 — The Sarasota Crew finished second in the Men’s Youth Fours at the 49th Head of Charles Regatta Oct. 19 and 20 in Boston.

4 — Lauren Hochstetler had 13 kills and 12 digs to lead the Sarasota High volleyball team to a 3-0 victory over The Out-of-Door Academy 3-0 Oct. 17 on Senior Night.

5 — The Riverview High football team kept its playoff hopes alive with a 48-18 victory over Palm Harbor University in Class 8A-District 7 action Oct. 18.
