Have you seen this mermaid?

Don’t adjust your screen — or paper. That’s a mermaid you see perched on the rocks at Lido Beach.

This redheaded, green-tailed, purple-clamshell-bra-clad mermaid who surfaced Friday afternoon isn’t a character from your favorite Disney movie. She’s 13-year-old Belle Babcock, who has her own Disney princess cosplay business.

Babcock, who purchases and also creates her own costumes, delights in taking her princess personas to the public. She can be spotted out and about during the summer dressed as Ariel from “The Little Mermaid.”

“I just like being Ariel, and I think making little kids smile is a lot of fun,” Babcock said.

She even sings lyrics from “Under the Sea” and “Part of Your World.”

Her favorite part of dressing up as Ariel: the hair.

“I love her red hair, and I love how bubbly she is,” Babcock said.
