Golf course participates in sales tax holiday

The city is participating in sales tax week.

A press release was issued today announcing that city-owned Bobby Jones Golf Club Golf Shop, 1000 Circus Boulevard, is offering eligible clothing items with a sales price of $75 or less that will be tax-free Friday, Aug. 12 through Sunday Aug. 14.

Eligible items, which can be purchased at Bobby Jones, include: shirts, shorts, pants, hats, socks, belts, spiked/cleated shoes, and ponytail holders.
