Fire rescue stops vehicle fire

East Manatee Fire Rescue workers still are on scene at the intersection of Interstate 75 and University Parkway, where a vehicle caught on fire around 9:45 a.m.

A white work truck caught on fire, but no other details are available at this time. The Florida Highway Patrol website cautions driversby because of possible smoke in the area. The left lane northbound is closed at this time, it states.
