Baseball

Braden River beat Brandon 3-1. Ryan Duncan went the distance on the mound for the Pirates, giving up just three hits and striking out seven batters. 

Softball

Lakewood Ranch defeated Charlotte 13-6. Morgan Cummins went 3-4 with a home run and six RBI for the Mustangs. 

Golf

Judy Colby, Pat Poirier, Elaine McKenzie and Nancie Shellenbaum (155) won Palm Aire Country Club's Women's Golf Association team quota points event. 

Elaine Kulbako, Toi Estes, Jean Sieghardt and Michele Beni won University Park Country Club's Season-Closing Luncheon — Reverse Waltz (team low net), shooting 122. 

At Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club's President's Cup event, the "Red Team" came out victorious. Members of the Red Team were captain Dick Williams,  Jack Walters, Craig Delfabro,  Barry Gertz, Ian Cutmore, Gene Seashore, Robert Mollicone, Michael Willard, Edward Rogers, Royce Morris, Ron Steffens, Donald Roberge, Jon Lengacher, Garry Knox, Sam Samarasinghe and Julien Millet. 

Also at Lakewood Ranch, Richard and Patricia Levitan won a couple's match play event.
