East County High 5 Moments: 12.17.15

1 — Braden River senior quarterback Jacob Huesman was selected to compete in the Florida Athletic Coaches Association 61st annual North-South All-Star Classic Dec. 12, at Villages Charter High School. 

2 — Lakewood Ranch junior LaDazhia Williams scored 14 points and had three rebounds and three steals in the Lady Mustangs' 56-37 victory over Riverview Dec. 9. 

3 — Faith Schyck scored a pair of goals as the Lakewood Ranch High girls soccer team recorded its seventh shutout with a 3-0 victory against Riverview Dec. 9. 

4 — Lakewood Ranch’s Blauvelt Georges scored 13 points and was one of 11 players who scored during the Mustangs' 70-28 Class 7A-District 11 boys basketball victory against Sarasota Dec. 8. 

5 — Dave Dupont used his 7-iron to record an ace Dec. 8 at the Palm Aire Country Club Champions Course. He aced No. 9, a 137-yard, par-3 hole.
