1 — Braden River High senior Ryan Walker won both the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke at the Class 3A-Region 3 meet Nov. 7, in Fort Myers, to qualify for the Class 3A Swimming and Diving Championships Nov. 13, in Stuart.

2 — The Out-of-Door Academy's Martin Baffico finished seventh in the 100-yard butterfly at the Class 1A Swimming and Diving Championships Nov. 6, in Stuart, becoming the first Thunder swimmer to make the finals.

3 — Braden River’s Domenic Aluise scored a combined five goals and three assists in two games, leading the Pirates to a 5-1 victory against Sarasota Military Academy Nov. 3 and a 3-1 victory versus Sarasota Nov. 5.

4 — LaDazhia Williams scored 21 points and hauled in eight rebounds to lead the Lakewood Ranch High girls basketball team to a 56-39 victory against Strawberry Crest Nov. 5.

5 — The Lakewood Ranch High girls golf team shot a combined 649 to finish seventh in the 16-team field at the Class 3A state tournament Nov. 3 and Nov. 4, at Mission Inn Resort & Club, in Howey-in-the-Hills.
