The Design Update: Today's Kitchen

At the end of a great party, it seems everyone ends up in the kitchen. In the past decade, people have acknowledged that by designing their kitchens with ample space for cooking and entertaining. Now that kitchens play a role as the centerpiece of the home, floor plans are getting larger and the list of must-have features is changing.  

To gather examples of the new standard, we stopped in some local showrooms and asked the experts what design details they are seeing in up-to-date kitchens.
