County offices closed on Presidents Day

Manatee County Government offices are closed Monday, Feb. 17, in observance of Presidents Day. All trash, recycling and yard waste collections for the week are postponed by one day from Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Saturday, Feb. 22, for residents in unincorporated Manatee.

Manatee County Area Transit, the Anna Maria Island Trolley and the Longboat Key Trolley are operating normal daily routes.

Manatee County parks and beaches are open to the public, as well.

Manatee County and Buffalo Creek golf courses remain open. The fitness center and teen room at G.T. Bray Recreation Center is closed, but G.T. Bray Skate Park remains open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Central Library is closed Monday, Feb. 17 and will resume normal operating hours Feb. 18.

All of Manatee County’s branch libraries operate normally Tuesday, Feb. 18, through Saturday, Feb. 22.Manatee County’s publicly owned natural preserves remain open Monday, as well.
