Suspicious Person: A woman reported a suspicious person in her condominium lobby. The man told police that he and his family just moved into the building.

FORCED ENTRY
7:05 p.m. — 600 block of Marbury Lane
Burglary: A woman told police she found her kitchen door forced open when she returned with her dogs. She called 911 and didn’t enter the home after discovering the door’s lock lying on the floor. Police reported the door was forced open, and dresser drawers were opened in the master bedroom and bathroom. Some purses, jewelry and clothes were stolen. The woman said several contractors had been in the home recently, performing bids for future work to the home.

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW?
8:46 p.m. — 500 block of Harbor Cove Circle
Noise Disturbance: A woman reported that she heard a woman screaming at a man on a neighboring deck earlier. She didn’t believe the scream was a cry for help, though. The housekeeper of the residence told police that her daughter-in-law was screaming at her husband to get his attention because he is hearing impaired and was pressurizing the outside of the home.

DRINKING AND DIVING
10:27 p.m. — 1200 block of GMD
Public Drunkenness: Police found a man who'd had too much to drink lying unconscious in a swimming pool. He was transported to the hospital for observation, and police informed the man’s mother of his situation.

PARKING PROBLEM
9:43 a.m. — 1100 block of GMD
Welfare Check: A security guard told police a woman hit the curb with her car when pulling into the condominium complex. She was distraught by the accident and given a ride to her unit.
PICK ME UP, LOVE
7:26 p.m. — 500 block of Bay Isles Parkway
Reckless Driving: A man called police to report a man driving a gray pickup truck recklessly and parked in the grocery store parking lot. The man told the pickup truck driver he should not be driving and asked for his keys. The man handed over his keys and went into the store. When he came out, police arrived and observed the man smelled like alcoholic beverages. The man agreed to get a ride home from his girlfriend.

NATURE CALLS
12:35 a.m. — 100 block of North Shore Road
Suspicious Circumstance: Police told a woman the beach access was closed. She informed police she would be gone after her boyfriend finished urinating on the beach in some nearby bushes.
BANNED: MAN'S BEST FRIEND
10:29 a.m. — 2800 block of GMD
Animal Nuisance: A man told police he couldn't sit on the beach with his dog. He was given a warning and fled the area.
LOCK YOUR DOORS
8:22 p.m. — 500 block of Sutton Place
Suspicious Circumstance: A woman told police her front door was wide open when she returned home from dinner. The house was secure, and nothing was missing. The wind may have blown the unlocked door open.
