Commissioners Lenobel, Zunz seek re-election

Commissioners Hal Lenobel and Patricia Zunz will seek re-election in March 2012.

Town Clerk Trish Granger e-mailed both commissioners yesterday to notify them that the clerk’s office has received notification of the official candidate petition certification for the March 2012 municipal election from the Manatee County Supervisor of Elections’ office.

Lenobel holds one of the commission’s two at-large seats and is currently serving his sixth term on the commission. He has served three terms as mayor.

Commissioners elected Zunz in April to the District 5 seat, which was vacated by Robert Siekmann.
