The Manatee Cal Ripken 9U All-Stars finished second in the Nations Baseball State Championships June 3-5 in Clearwater.
Sixteen teams competed in the tournament with Manatee advancing to the championship game. The team eventually fell 5-1 to the Tampa Young Guns.
