Bicyclist injured in crash

A 66-year-old woman is in critical condition after an oncoming vehicle collided with her bicycle in the Braden Woods community March 14.

A Florida Highway Patrol report states Judy Holt, 70, was driving her 2000 Chevrolet van eastbound on Braden Run and the intersection of Glen Abbey Lane when she failed to observe bicyclist Nancy Janus, 66.
The front right of Holt’s vehicle collided with the bicycle’s rear, and the bicycle came to a final rest on the south shoulder of Braden Run, the report states.

Holt was transported to Blake Hospital. Holt sustained no injuries.
