The Sarasota Bay Estuary Program Bay Guardian volunteers, along with officials from Around the Bend Nature Tours and the city of Sarasota, will plant about 500 native plants from 9 a.m. to noon tomorrow at North Lido Beach Park.

North Lido Beach is the site of a new tidal tributary created in March. The project improved 30 acres of the 70-acre site and included the removal of many non-native plants.
