Miriam Nagl moved in 2001 from Berlin to Longboat and has been playing golf since the age of 12. Right now, Nagl is training for the LPGA Qualifying School, which takes place in December, in Daytona. Nagl’s love for both the game of golf and the outdoors is evident. ***Watch video below for more of Nagl's interview***

What are you trying to improve?
I’m always working on my sequence, my swing and my hip speed.

How often do you play?
It all depends in what training phase I am in. I play or stay busy with the game five days a week usually.

What is some of the best advice you’ve received?
Take your time. Stay calm. Enjoy, you know, the nature. (There are) lots of things to calm you down.

What is your favorite part about golf?
That we are always outside in nature and that you have to be pretty disciplined and humble with this sport or otherwise it’s not going to go very well.
