There were plenty of people and businesses to meet and greet and plenty of snack to eat at the Longboat Key Chamber of Commerce's event on March 22.
The 17th annual Meet, Greet, Eat drew 28 member businesses to Harbourside Dining Room at the Longboat Key Club to set up a table and connect with the residents of Longboat Key. Businesses like Cadence Bank, Tidewell Foundation, The Paradise Center, Jack Dean Flooring and more businesses and services mingled with each other and the dozens of residents who came by. Harry's Continental Kitchens, the Longboat Key Club and Publix provided the "eat" portion of the evening.
"It's one of my favorite events," chamber President Gail Loefgren said. "Our businesses get a lot of business from this and it becomes a community event, too. People like to meet up here."
